the ill treatment of cats and dogs will always be a highly emotionally charged issue. this video is shocking and necessary. but me must remember a lot of our farming methods are also highly unethical. what might a hindu make of the role of cows in our society or a jain make of our treatment of insects. all animals should be treated with dignity and compassion, not just the ones we find cute. we need positive action. i am working on being vegeterian and i support a couple of animal charities.
